  • 2013-2015 - Employed by the Romanian Institute of Science and Technology as Manager of Innovation. Main duties: intelectual property, innovation and antrepreneurship.
  • 2004-2012 - Employed as research engineer by SPAWAR System Center, one of the US Navy research labs based on San Diego, California. Some of the duties included: Slocum Glider (underwater autonomous vehicle capable of crossing the oceans without a propeller), Bluefin's HAUV (autonomous underwater hover vehicle used for ship-hull inspection).
Scientific activity:
  • 2015-2017 - Research project aimed at formation of young and independent research teams, Grant UEFISCDI
  • Member of Association for Unmanned Vehicle Systems International.
Description of scientific work:
  • Medorian is passionate about the dynamics of neuronal structures (temporal relation between spikes), as well as understanding the communication between various neural circuits (utilizing the LFP). Also, of interest to Medorian is the understanding of object recognition's signature in EEG data collected from human subjects. The goal of his research is to understand how the brain processes information in distributed neural circuits.
